On Monday, May 25, 2026, Kittball invites Palmlands for a special collaborative rooftop session above the city of Dortmund.
Known for hosting successful rooftop events across the region, Kittball returns to the terrace of the Dortmunder U together with Palmlands to create a unique open-air experience combining House, Tech House and sunset energy in one of the city’s most iconic locations.
The collaboration brings together two different perspectives from Dortmund’s electronic music scene — Kittball’s internationally established House identity and the energetic club-driven sound of Palmlands.
With warm temperatures, open skies and electronic music above the rooftops of the city, the event is designed to capture exactly what makes holiday rooftop sessions special:

Before Tube & Berger step onto the rooftop, Purple Palms brings his high-energy sound into the evening transition.
Known for combining Tech House, Bass House and Techno into a driving festival-ready sound, Purple Palms has become increasingly present across Germany’s electronic scene through performances at events like Parookaville, Ruhr in Loveand Juicy Beats.
As co-founder of Palmlands Records, he represents a new generation of artists focused on energetic club music with strong crowd connection and modern production identity. Vinylsurfer Opens the Day with Summer Groove
Opening the event from 15:00 to 17:00, Vinylsurfer sets the tone for the entire rooftop session.
With over two decades of DJ experience and performances across Germany, Amsterdam and Ibiza, his sound blends Deep House, Afro House and Tech House into a warm and groove-focused atmosphere perfectly suited for open-air settings.
His role at the beginning of the event is essential: building the first connection between crowd, weather and music while the rooftop slowly fills with energy.
A Rooftop Collaboration Returning After a Sold-Out Premiere
This is not the first time Kittball and Palmlands have joined forces above the rooftops of Dortmund.
The first collaborative rooftop edition took place in summer 2023 and sold out within only a few days, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about electronic open-air events of the season. The combination of sunset atmosphere, curated House and Tech House sound, and the unique setting above the city created a vibe that stayed in people’s memories long after the last track ended.
Now, the collaboration returns as an official summer opening kick-off for 2026.
